What is Skolado?

Skolado is a survey tool that helps primary schools measure how students feel and do at school with child-friendly games. A very good tool used by many student health teams, principals and school managers.

How does Skolado work?

Step 1: The school receives a school account created by us.

Step 2: The school chooses between the ready-made survey templates with questions that are based on research. The quality of the templates has been ensured by Björn Johansson, docent in social work at Örebro University.
The school can also choose to create its own templates with its own questions, which is easy to do.

Step 3: Now the school is ready to start using Skolado with its students. No administrative work is ever needed in the future, which saves a lot of time. All answers are compiled and presented professionally directly in accordance with the Swedish National Agency for Education's recommendations.

Who created the survey templates?

We have, in collaboration with Björn Johansson, docent and university lecturer in social work at Örebro university developed a set of well-formulated, child-friendly and research-based  survey templates.

Björn has extensive experience in research focused on the well-being and consequences of children and young people
exposure to violence and bullying.

He also researches and evaluates prevention, promotion and remedial efforts. Björn conducts primarily research on school bullying in close collaboration with the Friends Foundation.

Each grade receives a unique link or QR code that they can scan to answer the survey. The schools usually print out the QR code and place it on the board in the classroom, alternatively send the link easily via Teams to the students.

Very fast.

It takes about five minutes to complete one of Skolado's surveys. Because it goes so quickly, most schools have created a routine to find out how the students are doing once a week.

What happens to the answers?

The students' answers are compiled and presented to the staff directly in simple diagrams in accordance with the Swedish National Agency for Education's recommendations.

You can follow the development over time for, for example, security, motivation and well-being. The answers can be divided by grade level and gender. It is also possible to ask follow-up questions to increase the chance of discovering things early and help the students who need support.

This helps schools, school managers and municipalities save a lot of time and be able to direct their efforts correctly to achieve the best student health.

A safe and secure platform.

We have ensured that Skolado complies with GDPR regulations with the help of the best IT law firms and the municipalities that use the tool.

The students' answers are anonymous and no personal data is saved, which makes Skolado a safe and secure platform. Data security for us is priority number one.
